In "La Quema", 2013 Prince Claus Laureate Carla Fernández has joined forces with Mexican dance company NOHBORDS and choreographer Diego Mur for a modern interpretation of ancient traditions. Her costume designs recall traditional patterns for this modern dance, performed against the backdrop of Museu Anahuacalli, a 20th-century structure inspired by pre-hispanic culture.
The movie was available to watch during the Festival on 8-9 December only.
