The Prince Claus Fund offers financial support to individuals and organisations who implement outstanding cultural initiatives, primarily in Latin America, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean & Eastern Europe.

We do this through open calls for applications. Open calls each have their own procedures and may be open at different times of year. Our Cultural Emergency Response programme is open to applications for urgent help to rescue threatened cultural heritage whenever a critical situation looms.

We're currently accepting applications for the following:

Open Call: Cultural and Artistic Response to Environmental Change

Ahmed Gaber We The Living Dead

Together with the Goethe Institute, we're welcoming proposals for cultural projects that address issues of climate and environment in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean and Eastern Europe.

Open Call: First Aid to Documentary Heritage under Threat

2018 Open Call Documentary Heritage Page

Together with the Whiting Foundation, we're welcoming proposals for projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean to safeguard documentary heritage that is acutely threatened by recent conflict or other disaster, whether natural or man-made.
