Natasha Ginwala is a curator, researcher, writer, and artistic director of Colomboscope—a contemporary art festival and creative platform for interdisciplinary dialogue in Sri Lanka. Natasha’s practice focuses on contemporary art, visual culture, and social justice. She is the associate curator at Gropius Bau in Berlin and co-curator of Sharjah Biennial 16 (2023-25). She was also the artistic director of the 13th Gwangju Biennale with Defne Ayas (2021) and has co-curated several international exhibitions at places such as Sharjah Art Foundation, Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, SAVVY Contemporary, and more.
