Florence Renault-Darsi Morocco

Florence Renault-Darsi is an art historian and curator. After her training in Art History at the University of Burgundy, she was active in the artistic field in France at the art center Le Consortium and for twelve years at the Regional Fund of Contemporary Art of Franche-Comté. In 2000, she moved to Morocco, where she has since led associative activities as artistic director of La Source du Lion.

In collaboration with her partner, the artist Hassan Darsi, she designs and implements the various projects and artistic activities of La Source du Lion and curates and administers them. In 2008, she designed and initiated the program of meetings titled "Une heure/Une œuvre", which invites creators from various disciplines, researchers, and actors of cultural life to come and share a work, be it architectural, literary, poetic, cinematographic, photographic, or choreographic, for one hour, with a sensitive, friendly and informal approach.

In 2001, she participated in the creation of the magazine AM (Architecture of Morocco, Art, and Environment) and then in the development of the first issues. She writes texts for artistic projects, on artists and exhibitions, directs and coordinates art publications, and curates exhibitions and artistic projects
