Wan Chee Michelle Chan Seed Awards recipient

Wan Chee Michelle Chan is a Chinese visual artist, researcher and photographer. She has a master’s in Education (Psychology) from the University of London, and was part of the Invisible Photographer Asia Mentorship Program with Kevin Lee (2019). She has exhibited her work at Les Focales du Pays d’Auge, France (2020), and was a laureate of the International Women Photography Award, France (2019). Her work explores the Chinese diaspora in Hong Kong through objects and experiences with a mix of fact and fiction. She hopes to expand her practice to include archival work and collaborations with the community in the future.
