Sumi Anjuman is a visual artist and activist born and raised in Bangladesh. A graduate in photography from Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, her work has been exhibited at Chobi Mela (2021). Sumi’s work draws from her position as a woman in a conservative society and tackles the oppression and agony within that context. Through collaborative image-making, she seeks to build a dialogue between herself and the people whose stories she is narrating.
