She employs a diverse range of artistic media to address environmental and political concerns within her native Malaysia. Her oeuvre encompasses performance, installation, sculpture, drawings, and text, resulting in work that often exhibits a simultaneous blend of the political, the performative, and the personal.

Sharon’s work has been showcased both locally and internationally, in exhibitions at venues such as National Art Gallery of Malaysia, Chan + Hori Contemporary, the Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, and the Singapore Biennale. Notably, her art is part of the permanent collections of the Singapore Art Museum and the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art.
