Kun Ruan Mentorship Awards recipient

Ruan Kun is a Chinese curator and writer with a master's degree in creative media from City University of Hong Kong. Her research within the field concerns new media art, especially crypto art and its relationship to art ecology – a subject she has published about extensively in several art journals. In the past 5 years Ruan has regularly curated exhibitions on themes of crypto art and crypto currency, in Beijing, Hangzhou, and HongKong. Currently she is expanding her research on the incorporation of new media art and crypto art within traditional arts and cultural spaces.
