Roger Pincay Seed Awards recipient

Roger Pincay is an Ecuadorian visual artist with a degree in Fine Arts from the Technological Institute of the Arts of Ecuador and the Universidad de las Artes. His work, which has been awarded with 2 distinctions at national level, reflects on certain performative manifestations of urban culture. His first works were expressed in the form of video art and explored the possibilities of body language in the daily sphere and in relation to urban groups in the city. In addition, Roger took inspiration from the characteristics of animals and he constructs elaborate fable narratives.
