Mmeli Seed Awards recipient

Mmeli is a cultural practitioner and entrepreneur from Eswatini. He co-founded Eswatini's biggest digital music label, Antidote Music, which has enabled several local artists to monetize their music and has earned him and his artists various national arts and culture awards. Mmeli empowers Eswatini artists by holding workshops on IP rights protection and management. He also founded a mentorship programme for women that aims to increase women leaders in Eswatini’s arts and culture sector. Mmeli's vision is to see youth unemployment alleviated, and economic growth ignited through the establishment of a sustainable creative and cultural economy in Eswatini.
