Luamba Muinga Seed Awards recipient

Luamba Muinga is an art critic and curator from Angola. He graudated with a degree in Social Communication and has participated in several art and curatorial workshops organized by Goethe Institut Launda, Contemporary And, and Hangar, Lisbon. Luamba has curated and co-curated various exhibitions such as Qual Futuro, Are we not makers of History, Kimpa21, and FNB Art Joburg. His curatorial and cultural production focuses on themes of re-examining history through topics like the permanence of memory, appropriation of recontextualization of the past, and how African and diasporic arts reflect colonial heritage.
