Larissa Araz is an artist from Turkey who produces work in a variety of media including text, video, image and sound. She has a Bachelors degree in Visual Arts and Sociology from KoUniversity. Her work has been exhibited at Dreiviertel (2020), Cultural Transit Foundation (2017), and Sismanoglou Megaro (2013), among others. In 2018, she co-founded the artist-run space Po?e which seeks to establish a community by providing an open space for dialogue and critique. Through her work, Larissa focuses on the topics of history, identity, memory, and belonging that are included or excluded from social memory.
