Irina Dmitrovskaya Seed Awards recipient

Irina Dmitrovskaya is a Kazakhstani artist and researcher with an interest in identities constructions and the sense of self. In the past, she has studied at the School of Modern Photography Docdocdoc (2018-2020), participated in the course Experiences of Contemporary Photography of St. Petersburg, Russia, and a Video Art course at the Rodchenko Art School (2020-2022). In her work, Irina explores the themes of sexuality, queerness, gender, and memory through the mediums of photography, video art, and performative practices.
