Hayat Al-Sharif Seed Awards recipient

Hayat Al-Sharif is a photojournalist from Yemen. She has a bachelor’s degree in English and Translation Studies from Sana’a University, Yemen. Her work has been featured by several international organizations such as UNDP, USAID, UN, World Food Programme, Aid To Artisans Organization, and more. Through her work, Hayat has strived to capture the challenges faced by Yemeni women, and give voice to malnourished children and women in a warzone.
