INTERNSHIP - Grants and Collaborations

The Prince Claus Fund is looking for a trainee who can support the Grants and Collaboration programme in the analysis and evaluation of grants design and its criteria for implementation; prepare and support a large Network Partners meeting; maintain relationships with the Fund´s partners and grantees and finally; provide support in daily administrative tasks.

The Grants & Collaborations programme supports innovative, high quality cultural initiatives in spaces where resources and opportunities for cultural expression, creative production and research are limited. Through various project Grants and Open Calls for Proposals, we offer talented artists and cultural practitioners a chance to develop creative initiatives and implement outstanding projects. Our Mobility Fund supports travel to foster cross-cultural collaborations and enable younger creatives to expand their horizons. We also provide established professionals and organisations a chance to benefit from longer-term support through our Network Partnerships


Interns closely assist the Grants and Collaborations programme with different tasks ranging from the planning and implementation of calls for proposals, the organisation of the network committee meetings and the development of new network partnerships, as well as administration and logistics of our Mobility Fund.


We are looking for an excellent communicator and a multi-tasker, with an interest in culture and arts; Pursuing BA/BS or MA/MS degree; With good knowledge of world history and geography as well as a background in studies of an international character and culture. The candidate must be fluent in both spoken and written English (knowledge of other languages is an advantage. Finally, all interns must be computer-proficient.

The Grants & Collaborations trainee will gain extensive knowledge about the Fund’s network of outstanding artists, thinkers, cultural organisations and collaborators. We have numerous events to publicize and attend, which offers great networking opportunities. Besides, the internship provides relevant work experience within an international organisation, and gives a broad range of insights into working in the cultural sector at a global level.

The Prince Claus Fund provides a stipend of €250- gross per month based on a full-time (36 hr/week) traineeship. It is also possible to work as a volunteer and receive a stipend if the applicant is not a registered student.


We are looking for a trainee from July/August 2020, for a minimum of 3 months, preferably 6 months. Working part-time is possible.
