As part of the 2023 Mobile Lab Egypt programme, the third panel of the symposium highlights the importance of Interdisciplinarity and Communication: as the built environment is a complex system of problems and opportunities, it requires an interdisciplinary approach that, in turn, requires a mindful language of communication between disciplines. Participating in this panel are performer, cultural activist, and GoDown Arts Center executive director, Joy Mboya; architect Samir El Kordy; and cultural practitioner, independent curator, and mentor of the Prince Claus Building Beyond Mentorship, Hicham Bouzid.
This panel is part of the 2023 Mobile Lab Egypt public symposium programme and takes place on 16 September, 15:00-16:30 (GMT+3) at Salah al-Din Citadel in Cairo, Egypt. The programme is developed in collaboration with African Architecture Matters, Megawra—Built Environment Collective, and Tahayyuz (an alliance formed by Megawra, 10 Tooba, and Mansour for Architecture and Conservation).
