Sister Press, Sister Library, India

Sister Press is a project by the Mumbai-based Sister Library to expand its activities into printing. The project will teach women from the community the skill of printing to allow them create content to combat sexist stereotypes and create positive challenging alternatives. Sister Library will print a series of bi-monthly community newspaper and well as posters relating women’s everyday experiences. There will be fortnightly open access days to teach the community about printing, with a final annual exhibition to share the works.
