Shanghai Community Radio is a community directed livestreaming platform built to showcase, incubate, and archive the Shanghai underground arts scene. SHCR will organize an online music and art festival series, streaming in artists from around the world. In addition to performances, the festival will include interviews and workshops. All artists featured in the music festival series will come from independent underground scenes, with a curatorial emphasis on the diverse backgrounds and contexts of artists working within club and emerging electronic music genres.
