The film "Sabarmati and Its Lovers" looks at the role the Sabarmati River in India has had for people since the city of Ahmadabad was established on its banks in 1411. A source of life and promise, it has become a place of suicides. As the state of the river has changed, has the language it speaks changed, reflecting the way it is being treated?

The movie was available to watch during the Festival on 8-9 December only.
