The Prince Claus Fund Response to the COVID-19 virus

The Prince Claus Fund is following Dutch government guidelines to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus and protect the health of our staff, interns, volunteers and guests. To this end, our office and gallery are closed to the public until further notice. The Prince Claus Fund is still operating and staff will be working during our usual hours Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00 CET. We are primarily working remotely but are also present at the office periodically, in adherence with government measures. To contact the Prince Claus Fund please email us at [email protected].

The Prince Claus Fund will also be limiting its domestic travel and postponing international travel until further notice. Because the health and safety of our partners is of equal concern, we are also temporarily putting on hold all activities that involve international travel, especially travel that involves gatherings of multiple people.

If you are unsure of what this might mean for your project or proposal, please contact [email protected] or email your usual point of contact at the Fund. As the situation is constantly evolving, we will do our best to keep you informed as changes occur. Thank you for your understanding.

UPDATE: A note to our partners

We understand that the situation is changing every day. We are committed to the following actions in order to better serve our partners. We are:

  • Postponing reporting deadlines on current grants when requested
  • Listening to our partners
  • Communicating regularly about our response
  • Gathering lessons learnt and have them inform our actions

We understand that your project or initiative may be delayed due to these unprecedented circumstances. We have received status updates from many of our partners, and appreciate them! But please note that we are receiving many more emails than usual. We kindly ask for your patience as we process every query and update received. We look forward to being in touch soon!
