Prince Claus Fund Photobox
The Prince Claus Fund PhotoBox is a limited edition collection of photographs by internationally renowned photographers who are Prince Claus laureates or partners of the Fund. Proceeds from the Prince Claus Fund PhotoBox will be used to support young photographers working in difficult circumstances worldwide.
Contributing photographers include: Yto Barrada, Rena Effendi, Maya Goded, Van Leo, Santu Mofokeng, Zanele Muholi, Dayanita Singh, and Akram Zaatari. The work of the participating photographers is inseparable from the challenging contexts in which they work and live. Yto Barrada’s oeuvre focuses on themes of migration and mass tourism and their consequences in contemporary Moroccan society; Zanele Muholi confronts violence against sexual minorities in South Africa by breaking through taboos with her intimate portraits; and Akram Zaatari highlights the personal stories behind the image and their role in documenting Lebanon’s complex history.
This select group of photographers comes together exclusively in the Prince Claus Fund PhotoBox. It offers a window into the ways these visionaries see and experience their societies.
The Prince Claus Fund PhotoBox is a limited edition of 75 copies. Each photo is numbered and signed by the photographer.
Price: 4,500 EUR.
