Mohamed Biyjeddiguene Morocco

Mohamed Biyjeddiguene is a cultural practitioner based in Casablanca, Morocco. He co-founded the Moroccan Association of Electronic Music (AMME), which aims to promote Amazigh heritage and electronic music, by implementing popular education projects such as Abtal Digital, as well as research and documentation, archiving and musical production projects through Tekchbila: a music residency project that took place in the south of Morocco in April 2021. It gathered, in an attempt first of its kind, Amazigh-Souss Musicians and Moroccan Electronic music producers in order to create a sound that merges both musical soundscapes and that puts the ancestral Amazigh music in the center of the creation.
