Mobile Lab Egypt Exhibition

As part of the 2023 Mobile Lab Egypt public programme, The Arab Documentary Photography Programme (ADPP)—a joint initiative between the Prince Claus Fund, the Arab Fund for Art and Culture, and the Magnum Foundation—showcases the exhibition "Presence", a journey into vulnerability, exposure, and openness. Exhibiting artists put their personal presence and the presence of their family stories at the center of their project. "Presence" raises the essential question about the relationship between the public and the private through stories, in which we, our ordinary daily lives and traumas, are the heroes.
The exhibition is curated by multimedia artist and 2015 ADPP Awardee, Heba Khalifa, and 2018 ADPP Mentor Randa Shaath, and it features multidisciplinary artist and 2016 ADPP Awardee, Sara Sallam; photographer and 2017 ADPP Awardee, Hesham Elsherif; photographer and 2019 ADPP Awardee, Ravy Shaker; visual artist and 2020 ADPP Awardee, Amina Kadous; and photojournalist and 2021 ADPP Awardee, Doaa Nasr.
The exhibition is part of the Lab's public programme and its opening takes place on 18 September, 17:00-18:00 (GMT+3) at Tahrir Cultural Center at the American University in Cairo.
Please note that the capacity for the Exhibition has been fully reached. Reach out to communica[email protected] if you have any questions or requests.
