Mekong Hotel By Apichtapong Weerasethakul

2016 Prince Claus Laureate Apichatpong Weerasthetakul’s film "Mekong Hotel" is a portrait of a hotel near the Mekong River on the Thai border with Laos. The film shuffles between different realms, fact and fiction, expressing the bonds between certain people and the river, weaving in layers of demolition, politics, and a drifting dream of the future.

The movie was available to watch during the Festival on 8-9 December only.
