Karim Rouissi Morocco
Karim Rouissi is a Moroccan architect, who obtained his architectural degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Toulouse in 2001. He worked for two years in Toulouse, at the Atelier Yvan Roussel and then at the Agence Séquence before returning to Morocco in 2002 to practice as a freelance architect and co-found the Agence Empreinte d'Architectes in 2006, and the agency H+E Architecture in 2014.
Rouissi is also a teacher at the School of Architecture of Casablanca since 2006, a visiting teacher at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Versailles since 2013, and a lecturer in the Master of Urbanism and Planning, inherited city, and sustainable development at the University of Paris-Sorbonne. He is also active in various associations, including the association Casamémoire, of which he is the current vice president
Created in 1995, Casamémoire is a non-profit Moroccan association for the preservation of the architectural heritage of the 20th century in Morocco. It brings together members gathered around common values: preservation of the specificity of Casablanca, enhancement of architectural heritage, cultural tourism, and collective memory.
