Studying Independent Publishing Practice in Java, Indisczinepartij, Indonesia

Yogyakarta-based collective Indisczinepartij will conduct ethnographic field research into the state of independent publishing and zine making in Java. The members of the collective, all of whom are under 30, will travel around the island conducting interviews and documents the independent publishing scene, which has not been thoroughly researched before now. The research will result in the publishing of a book, which will be distributed through local independent bookshops.
