2018 Grantees Contemporary Take British Council Grants Landscape

 

What kinds of grant proposals do we support? Here are a few of our most recent calls for proposals supported through our Grants & Collaborations. 

  • Arab Documentary Photography Program (ADPP) - The ADPP is a programme funded by AFAC, the Prince Claus Fund and Magnum Foundation, targeting creative documentary photographers in the Arab region.
  • Selat: Links through the Arts - Joint Call with A. M. Qattan Foundation - This call invited cultural and artistic institutions working in Lebanon to apply for grants for new cultural and artistic projects aimed at enhancing the cultural life within the Palestinian communities in Lebanon.
  • Contemporary Take, Beyond Cultural Heritage - Joint Call with the British Council- This call welcomed project proposals that enable young people to engage with diverse cultural heritage within their own context and/or across six South Asian countries  (i.e. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) through contemporary artistic and new media interventions.
  • Syria, Beyond Arts - Syria, Beyond Arts 2015 was a collaboration between the Prince Claus Fund and the British Council that offered support for high quality artistic projects by Syrian artists, photographers, theatre makers, film makers, writers and publishers either displaced or in exile as a result of the war.
