Earthquakes, rising sea levels, extreme weather, conflict – there is no end of phenomena that could endanger our most precious cultural heritage. But how can we protect our monuments, artefacts, and museums?Two experts on this topic, Lama Abboud, architect from Homs, Syria, and Samuel Franco, Director of Casa Kojom - Museo de Música Maya, Centro Cultural la Azotea in Guatemala will talk about their experiences saving cultural heritage. Both Lama and Samuel took part in the Leadership Course and the First Aid to Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis course organised to train professionals from all over the world in the protection of cultural heritage.
