‘Languages of indigestion: Laboratory of counter-pedagogies and visual resistances.’ is a project by Permanent Circle of Independent Studies (CIPEI), based in Mexico. The project, taking place in various art institutions in Mexico City (Iztapalapa neighbourhood) and Rio de Janeiro (Santa Marta neighbourhood), aims to develop artistic tools with which a young generation can resist stigmatization by gender, race, class and sexual orientation. Young artists facing such stigmatization will be involved in both the production as well as the artistic diffusion and analysis.
