We Support Through Awards
Since its establishment in 1996, the Prince Claus Fund has found various ways to fulfill its mandate to support arts and culture, especially where it is under pressure in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean and Eastern Europe.
A consistent way we have supported, connected and celebrated artists and cultural practitioners is through Prince Claus Awards. We now have a sequence of three categories of Prince Claus Awards that are designed to support artists and cultural practitioners in different ways at crucial stages in their professional careers.
Through our Exchanges Programme, we link Award recipients with each other and with Dutch and international counterparts in ways that can mutually widen horizons and enhance professional growth.
