Tarun Sharma Seed Awards recipient

Tarun Sharma is an Indian visual artist. He has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Printmaking. His work has been internationally selected to participate in various exhibitions, and he was awarded the Lalit Kala Scholarship in 2019-2020. Sharma works with different mediums, choosing one that complements the story he is telling best. Driven by sensitivity and empathy, his work focuses on issues that are autobiographical or close to his lived experience, covering themes such as addiction, schadenfreude, racism, empathy, helplessness, or concern for the environment and people.
