Sofiane Bakouri is a photographer from Algeria. After graduating in Civil Engineering from the University of Bejaia Algeria, he decided to follow his passion and pursued a career in photography. In the past, Sofiane has been awarded with the AlgeriART Prize as well as taken part in several artistic exhibitions, including the STRASMED Festival (2017). Interested in exploring artists’ roles in society, Sofiane is determined to further push his artistic work by producing series of documentary photographs.
