Abdoul Mujyambere is a multi-disciplinary artist born and based in Kigali, Rwanda. While studying at the National University of Rwanda, he discovered his passion for performance
arts, and since then, he has directed and choreographed several works and worked with various mediums, ranging from film and photography to fashion and dance theater. He has won
international grants from Africalia and Adrica, and his work has been exhibited at the New York African Film Festival. Abdoul has engaged with the themes of memory, beauty, and identity to faithfully represent his personal values as well as that of his community.
