Mohamed Sirra Mentorship Awards recipient

Mohamed Sirra is an artist, designer and researcher from Morocco. He creates experimental and thought-provoking urban interventions and public art projects that build and reinforce social bonds in public spaces. Through his practice, Sirra works closely with residents, businesses, and community groups to position a public space as an experimental place that tries to inspire a 'collective cultural practice'. He creates work that challenges our surroundings as endlessly adaptable places with the potential for multiple uses.
