Karimeh Mahmoud Seed Awards recipient

Karimeh Mahmoud is a Syrian writer, feminist, and activist based in Iraq. Her work on gender and women issues has been published in various regional platforms and magazines. She also self-published a collection of stories - Very Feminist Stories - in 2018. Karimeh is dedicated to telling women stories and highlighting the female experience of living in the MENA region through her poems, prose, short stories and personal essays.
