Ismaël Seed Awards recipient

Born in Niamey, Niger, Ismaël is a photographer and a former professional dancer. Independently developing his photography skills after discovering his passion for photography in 2020, he started organizing offbeat mobile studios during parties and events in Niamey, composed of traditional hand-woven Nigerian fabric and old salvage materials. In his practice, Ismaël focuses on themes of man facing nature, as well as the invisible people in society.
