Fabrice Mbonankira Seed Awards recipient

Fabrice Mbonankira is a storyteller and photographer from Burundis. Introduced to photography by his older brother, he began his creative journey after receiving training in storytelling and conceptualization in photography (2019). His artistic practice is also influenced by the experience of living with the stigma inflicted by the war that Burundi experienced in 1993. Through the art of photography, Fabrice aspires to contribute to the improvement of the well-being of the people and communities he meets.
