Daiara Tukano is a visual artist from Brazil, independent communicator, indigenous rights activist, and human rights researcher. She graduated from the University of Braslia with a degree in Fine Arts (2013) and a Master's degree in Human Rights (2018). Belonging to the Yep Mahs people (known as Tukano), her artistic work is based on research on their traditions and spirituality whose culture she aims to keep alive and in dialogue with the contemporary world. Daiara work has been exhibited at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil, the 34th Bienal de So Paulo, the Museum of Modern Art of So Paulo, and the Pinacoteca de So Paulo.
