Alice Christel Penda Seed Awards recipient

Alice Christel Penda is a visual artist from Cameroon where she is currently based. She graduated from the School of fine Arts, University of Douala in 2020 with a Masters in Plastic Arts and History of Arts. In the past, she has showcased her work in Import/Export Exhibition (2021), Virtual Exhibition del Museo Civico di Taverna ‘’Artisti del Camerun’’ (2020) and Patrimoine Culturel Collectif Contemporain (2020). Her artistic practice focuses on re-examining history, climate emergency and civil society and is currently working on the impact of Central African’s post-colonial economical system on its populations.
