Aban Salehi is a contemporary visual artist from Iran who focuses on body and sexuality. Her personal experiences of living in Iran have contributed immensely to her desire to challenge the definition of the body and society perception of it as an nlawful ground She has a BFA degree in sculpture studies from the University of Tehran, and uses sculpture as a medium to create new bodies and develop questions about them.
