17.8.2010 Manasir Heritage Rescue Survey
The material culture of the Manasir, which is largely undocumented, will be lost forever after the construction of the dam and flooding of a huge area along the bank of the river Nile. A special team of researchers went on mission to document the Manasir people’s culture, both material and immaterial, to preserve and safeguard it for generations to come.

CER responded to the earthquake that devastated the province of Sichuan on 12 May 2008 by supporting the reconstruction of Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County Library. On 2-3 May 2008, cyclone Nargis left a trail of devastation in the region of Yangon and the Irrawaddy Delta, Myanmar devastated. CER provided immediate support for the stabilisation a synagogue and a mosque in the old city centre of Herat, both were seriously damaged by flooding n March and April 2007.
