In 2011 the Prince Claus Fund received a renewed five-year (2012-2016) subsidy from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

The Prince Claus Fund is determined to raise additional funds throughout this period.

In addition to the financial contribution from the Dutch Government, the Prince Claus Fund receives generous support of the Dutch Postcode Lottery.

In 2011 the Fund received the amount of  € 500.000 as an annual contribution.

In 2011, the Fund raised incidental, project based funding from other sources totalling €495.564.

Targets

The financial resources are channelled through the Fund’s programmes. For 2012 these programmes will allocate the following amounts in support of cultural activities in developing countries:

Grants and Collaborations € 2.173.600
Cultural Emergency Response €1.477.800
Awards € 1.024.300

The total expenses made for fundraising, management and administration (overhead) in 2011 were 10%.
