Public transportation

Take the subway ( 51, 53, 54) to the stop Waterlooplein, take the exit Stadhuis (city hall) / Stopera. From there you can walk to the office in less than 5 minutes. Cross the Bluebridge, take a left turn and at the corner of restaurant Breitner take a right turn to walk onto the Herengracht.

Or you can take the tram (9, 14) to the stop Rembrandtplein. It is a 2 minute walk from there. Walk in the direction of the building 'The Bank' and walk around it to turn right into the Utrechtse Straat, after that take the first turn to the left to arrive at the Herengracht where the second building on your left is the office.

By car

Since there aren't many parking spaces next to the canals we recommend you to use the parking garage under the Stadhuis (City Hall) and the Music theatre (= Stopera). From there you can walk to the office in less than 5 minutes. Cross the Bluebridge, take a left turn and at the corner of restaurant Breitner take a right turn to walk onto the Herengracht.

The Prince Claus Fund organises small exhibitions with work from artists from Africa , Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean in the Gallery at the office of the Fund on the Herengracht in Amsterdam. Round and about four exhibitions are organised per year. Find out more about the exhibitions (link)

The Prince Claus Fund also has a small library that contains 7500 titles consisting of publications, magazines, DVD’s and more, with a great variety of subjects from the international field of culture and development. The library offers a selection of publications that are organised by subject and geographically. Everyone is welcome to come and have a look or to study the books in our library. Visiting hours for the exhibitions and the library are from Monday till Friday from 10.00h till 17.00h.
