1.7.2005 Kabul Cartoucherie, theatre workshops in Afghanistan

In June/July 2005, the Foundation for Culture and Civil Society organized workshops in Kabul in co-operation with the Théâtre du Soleil. (France). Afghan theatre makers met for workshops on acting, lighting and sound. These workshops resulted in Théâtre Aftaab, a new theatre group. They produced the play “Romeo and Juliet”, which subsequently toured Afghanistan.
