Tiny Toones uses break-dancing and hip-hop culture to reach vulnerable young and children in Phnom Penh. Hip-hop is very popular among Cambodian youth, which gives Tiny Toones its unique appeal to some of the most marginalised communities of Phnom Penh, enabling youth at risk to create music and dance instead of slipping into harmful paths.

On Monday 25 March the Prince Claus Fund organises a special screening of the documentary Forbidden Voices at the Movies that Matter Festival in The Hague. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with two of the main characters in the film; bloggers Yoani Sánchez (Cuba) and Farnaz Seifi (Iran), as well as Barbara Miller, the director of Forbidden Voices.

International premiere of Riding on a Cloud

15.2.2013 International premiere of Riding on a Cloud

The international premiere of Riding on a Cloud by 2011 Prince Claus Laureate Rabih Mroué will take place on 5 March 2013 in the Rotterdamse Schouwburg. Riding on a Cloud examines the construction of truth, especially during conflict. The performance is part of the 'Ervaar daar hier Theater' programme and will tour through the Netherlands in March.
